In the final battle, surrounded by enemies, he fought until his sword arm was severed — and continued fighting with his remaining hand. Even after death, his spirit stood guard at his master's threshold. The chieftain, overcome with grief and gratitude, established a shrine and Theyyam in honour of the warrior whose loyalty transcended death itself.
